I found it to be overall boring and the Alpha and Beta just look like bricks with wings to me. Hate them both. The only thing that ever caught my attention was the Cyclones. Those I liked.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to throw in with Mecha on this one...

NewGen blew chunks. I'd (grudgingly) take Masters over this. I mean, the mecha designs in Masters are so outlandish, you'd expect them in a cheezy cartoon, but NewGen just seemed to take itse;f way too seriously..

Add to that, the majority of the NewGen episodes were enough to instill suicidal tendencies and outright clinical depression!

Sorry I stick up for TNG...

I felt that SC was a little boring (always same location, stupid tactics, ect).

Hello they traveled for a YEAR in TNG and had SEASONS and went places and did shit.

SC went to space what twice? goody... Most of the time they were in that fricken desert.

Ever notice that in the TV station in Robotech: The Untold Story (aka Megazone 23), we see a guy that could be a younger Lancer walking down the hall?

If you rightfully ignore the current timeline, and go with the original intent of the mid-2030s, you could actually have it BE Lancer, and him working in Japan might explain why he already knew how to do Bishi/crossplay.

I'm sorry, but he and Carla got him made into Yellow too quickly, AND he was able to pull it off for that original escape WAY too easy, for him NOT to already be an experienced cross-dresser long before he ever met Carla.

I'm enjoying it so far. The cyclone is cool, most of the characters are decent enough, the story's okay and Lancer is awesome.

I wonder if anyone's got a rip of the Love, Live, Alive DVD online, that I believe was part of the Japanese boxed set? I've got a bootleg of the original VHS release, that I've burned to DVD, but it's lacking a bit in quality, and recordings off LD tend to have that annoying LD hum...
