Characters you can relate to

No need to explain, just talk about the characters from the macross saga that relate to you on a personal level.

For me, I'm nerdy like Max Sterling, love the video games
I'm hot headed and competitive like Miriya (only competitive with video games lol)

In some cases, I can be just as evil as Khyron the backstabber

Short of the death thing, I relate mostly to Ben Dixon (hence the avatar and intro to the paint & body shop)
I have his strange sense of humor, can be sarcastic and witty, love a great steak, have an endless appetite, sometimes act kinda macho but can really ham it up to the camera and friends/family.

Is this because of what you asked me in the chat last night?

Well...I would say I can relate to Exedore in some ways, since I'm also quite nerdy and quirky and wouldn't win any beauty contests, and I'm also a geek going out and becoming aware of the wider world, which is what he's doing at the end of the series, and what happens in the novels.

But I also feel a bit like Rico, Bron, and Konda (they all really mostly have the same personality anyway), because I can be a bone-headed litttle pleasure seeker, too.

Really, for all that the Macross story is that of Rick (Hikaru)'s coming-of-age, I'd argue that it's also the coming-of-age for the Zentraedi as a whole, and not just in the "They want to give Minmei the sexings" way.

Definitely Roy... I'm pretty freaking tall (close to 2m), skinny, and definitely a bit of a big-brotherly type and a hard drinker.
